Bhopal, Jan 16 (NationPress) The Madhya Pradesh government has received investment proposals exceeding Rs 32,500 crores during the 7th Regional Industrial Conclave (RIC) held in Shahdol district on Thursday.
During the conclusion of the RIC at the government engineering college grounds in Shahdol, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav stated that these investment proposals are anticipated to create job opportunities for over 30,000 young individuals.
Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that with its rich culture, developing industrial scene, and ongoing infrastructural advancements, Shahdol is swiftly evolving into a prime destination for investment.
This conclave signifies a major milestone in attracting investments, enhancing MSMEs, and promoting regional development. We have secured investment proposals totaling over Rs 32,500 crores, which is expected to yield around 30,000 jobs in the near future,” Yadav remarked.
He also announced that the state government has designated 2025 as the 'Year of Industry and Employment' to facilitate industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh.
“Through initiatives like the Regional Industry Conclave, we are dedicated to establishing MP as a beacon of growth, development, and investment,” he added.
At least six RICs were conducted between March and December 2024, resulting in investment proposals surpassing Rs 3.75 lakh crore, projected to generate nearly 85,000 jobs in the state, alongside ensuring industrial expansion, as per the Madhya Pradesh government.
Importantly, the inaugural RIC took place in Chief Minister Yadav's native district Ujjain on March 1 and 2, 2024. The subsequent editions were held in Jabalpur on July 20, Gwalior on August 28, Sagar division on September 27, Rewa on October 23, and Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) division on December 7, 2024.
Following this, the state government will initiate preparations for the 'Madhya Pradesh - Global Investors Summit - 2025' to be conducted in Bhopal on February 24.
