Bhopal, Jan 14 (NationPress) The government of Madhya Pradesh has secured investment proposals exceeding Rs 3.75 lakh crore from six Regional Industry Conclaves (RIC), conducted from March to December 2024.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav indicated that these investment proposals from the six RICs are anticipated to create approximately 85,000 jobs in the state while promoting industrial advancement.
The state administration is currently gearing up for the 7th Regional Industry Conclave (RIC) in the Shahdol division taking place on Thursday.
On Monday, Chief Minister Yadav held a virtual meeting with a group of industrialists who were scheduled to announce investments during Shahdol's RIC.
Following the virtual engagement with industrialists from the Rewa airport, the Chief Minister revealed that investment proposals worth Rs 20,000 crore have been received for Shahdol.
The overall investment is expected to grow further after the conclave.
Upon reviewing preparations for the RIC, Chief Minister Yadav instructed the Shahdol district administration to get new entrepreneurs ready for startups within two days.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that Shahdol is recognized nationwide for its rich mineral resources.
It is noteworthy that the inaugural edition of the RIC took place in Chief Minister Yadav's home district, Ujjain, on March 1 and 2, 2024.
Subsequently, the second edition occurred in Jabalpur on July 20, followed by the third in Gwalior on August 28. The fourth edition was organized in the Sagar division on September 27, and the fifth edition was held in Rewa on October 23.
The sixth edition took place in Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) division on December 7, 2024.
Following this, the state government will initiate preparations for the 'Madhya Pradesh - Global Investors Summit - 2025', set for February 24 in Bhopal.
Chief Minister Yadav announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Global Investors Meet.
Additionally, the state government has proclaimed 2025 as the 'Year of Industry and Employment' to foster industrial growth in Madhya Pradesh.
To attract investors, interactive sessions on investment opportunities are being organized at both national and international levels.
