Prayagraj, Dec 14 (NationPress) The Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara is set to conduct its magnificent procession on Saturday as part of the Maha Kumbh celebrations in Prayagraj.
The procession will kick off at 11 A.M., attracting a vast crowd that will accompany the sadhus and seers on their journey to the Maha Kumbh cantonment. The spiritual leaders will proceed from the Shri Maujgiri Ashram to the Triveni Marg Akhara's camp.
Influential personalities such as Mahants, Mahamandaleshwars, Jagadgurus, and Naga sadhus will spearhead the procession, which is anticipated to be a stunning spectacle.
In regal fashion, these leaders will travel in chariots, carriages, and on horses, while musical ensembles from Punjab, Delhi, Haryana, and Uttarakhand will enhance the event's grandeur.
The Mahamandaleshwar of the Akhara will be seen in a silver howdah, with the Naga sadhus leading the parade on horseback.
Mahant Hari Giri, the International Patron of the Juna Akhara, along with President Mahant Premgiri Maharaj, will supervise the arrangements.
This event follows the sadhus and sages of the Shri Panch Dashnam Juna Akhara making a grand entrance into Sangam city last month, marking the beginning of their involvement in the Maha Kumbh.
Under the guidance of Mahant Hari Giri, the procession originally started from Ramapur in Andawa and concluded at Shri Maujgiri Panch Dashnam.
The entry procession showcased lavishly adorned chariots, carts, and horses, with sants riding in majestic style to the rhythm of drums and various musical instruments. Crowds gathered along the streets to give them a warm welcome, along with sants who had traveled from diverse regions of the globe.
The Maha Kumbh festival, taking place on the banks of the Sangam in Prayagraj, will officially begin with the inaugural bathing day on Makar Sankranti on January 13.
This spiritual gathering is projected to attract millions of devotees and pilgrims, underscoring the event's profound spiritual importance and cultural legacy.
