Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 21 (NationPress) Since the start of the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj on January 13, millions of devotees have immersed themselves in the sacred confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati.

Devotees from all over the nation and overseas are flocking to the city to cleanse themselves by taking a dip in the Sangam and receiving blessings from revered saints. Additionally, they are engaging in spiritual activities such as kirtans and bhajans, fully immersing in the divine ambiance.

IANS interviewed several pilgrims who traveled from Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Kanpur.

Bharat Soni, a visitor from Gujarat, recounted his experience at the Maha Kumbh, "I arrived on January 12. The Maha Kumbh kicked off on January 13. I have never witnessed such a magnificent Kumbh before. After dipping here, I feel immense joy. The Yogi government has notably prioritized cleanliness. Sanitation workers start their shifts as early as 4 a.m. Furthermore, the community has been encouraged to help maintain cleanliness at the Kumbh. Dustbins are positioned in various locations, and people are consciously disposing of waste properly."

Mahendra from Rajasthan shared, "Being here is truly delightful. After bathing, I applied sandalwood paste to my forehead, which has brought me great tranquility. The Yogi government has managed this grand Maha Kumbh exceptionally well, with no signs of mismanagement whatsoever."

Priyanshu from Kanpur stated, "The Yogi government has established outstanding arrangements. I am eager to explore the Maha Kumbh Mela until February 26."

Priti Raj Goswami, another devotee from Gujarat, remarked, "Bathing here is a wonderful experience. We are genuinely impressed with the provisions made by the Yogi government. It’s heartening to see numerous Sanatani individuals at the fair."
