Mumbai, Sep 24 (NationPress) Maharashtra's Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis declared on Wednesday that the state government is committed to extending every possible support to individuals, particularly farmers, severely impacted by the torrential rains and floods across various regions of Maharashtra.
He highlighted that these adverse weather conditions have inflicted significant damage on agricultural crops, livestock, homes, and businesses, urging the flood-affected populace to exercise patience during this challenging period.

“In Darfal village, the flooding has resulted in catastrophic damage, with excessive water altering the river's course, leading to the inundation of vast portions of the village and many homes. Consequently, residences, food supplies, agriculture, and livestock have suffered significant losses.
“The government will extend support for agriculture, households, and losses to food supplies. Additionally, comprehensive assistance will cover infrastructure, including roads, educational institutions, farms, and the electricity network. Separate support will be allocated for businesses impacted by these disasters,” stated Chief Minister Fadnavis.
