Kolkata, Dec 30 (NationPress) In response to the statements made by Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding infiltration, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee questioned how the terror incidents in Pahalgam and the car bomb explosion in Delhi could occur if infiltration was solely happening in West Bengal.

Speaking at a public gathering in Barjora, located in Bankura district, CM Mamata Banerjee referred to Amit Shah as “Dushasana”, suggesting that he has come to Bengal with intentions to “destroy” the region.

Dushasana, a follower of Shakuni, has come to Bengal to collect intelligence. As elections approach, Dushasana and Duryodhana arrive here, instilling fear with their presence. Their aim is not to create Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal) but rather to harm the state,”

the CM expressed.

Earlier, Amit Shah criticized the Mamata Banerjee administration for allegedly facilitating infiltration while purportedly offering them protection.

In reply to his assertions, CM Banerjee said, “Today, he asserted that infiltrators only enter from West Bengal. If that is indeed the case, how did the attack in Pahalgam happen? Who orchestrated the incident in Delhi? If there are no infiltrators in Kashmir and other regions, how can such events occur?”

Additionally, the Chief Minister dismissed Amit Shah's claims that her government failed to provide land for Central government projects in Bengal.

“You are saying that the Mamata Banerjee government did not allocate land for Central government projects. If that’s the case, then who facilitated land in Bongaon’s Petrapole and at Andal for a new airport? How were the railway lines constructed? They have turned into comrades. If no land was granted, then how is Eastern Coalfield Limited (ECL) operating? Who provided land in Ghokshadanga and Changrabandha? They are fabricating lies,”

Banerjee stated.

The Trinamool Congress leader criticized the Union Home Minister’s prediction that the BJP would form a government in Bengal following the state Assembly elections.

“Previously, they claimed they would secure 200 seats. Now, they predict a two-thirds majority. They are unable to specify any numbers. This time, they are implementing Special Intensive Revision (SIR), believing they can win by eliminating voter names. At least 58 lives have been lost. They lack respect for elders. Don’t you feel ashamed? Only you and your son will prosper?”

she remarked while launching a fierce critique of the Home Minister.

She continued, “Now, they assert that through SIR, they will expel infiltrators. What have you been doing until now? Names of Matua, minorities, and Hindus are being stripped from the electoral rolls today. They even branded me as Bangladeshi. However, I was born in Birbhum.
