The accident took place in the early morning hours on Airport Road in Porbandar when two motorcycles collided head-on.
Five young individuals were riding on two bikes that were reportedly traveling at high speeds when the crash occurred.
The force of the collision hurled all riders onto the roadway, resulting in severe injuries.
Local residents and emergency responders quickly arrived at the scene, transporting the injured to a nearby hospital using an 108 ambulance.
Tragically, three of the youths were pronounced dead upon arrival, while another succumbed to their injuries during treatment at Bhavsinhji Hospital in Porbandar.
One survivor is currently receiving care at a hospital in Jamnagar.
The deceased have been identified as Milan Badarshahi (26), Dipesh Dhakecha (18), Vanraj Jhala (17), and Piyush Lodhari (24).
The lone survivor, Pratik Nilesh Jethwa, aged 14, is reported to be in stable condition while undergoing treatment.
Initial reports suggest that three of the victims were returning from a condolence bhajan program in Ranavav when their motorcycle collided with another bike coming from the opposite direction.
The collision, which occurred between approximately 5:00 a.m. and 5:40 a.m., resulted in debris scattered across the roadway, and both motorcycles sustained extensive damage.
Police arrived shortly after the incident and have registered a case of accidental death.
Investigators are currently reviewing CCTV footage and questioning witnesses to determine the cause of the crash. The bodies of the deceased have been sent for a post-mortem examination.
