Mandsaur, April 13 (NationPress) As the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY) marks a decade of empowering small and micro-entrepreneurs across the nation, beneficiaries are sharing their remarkable stories of transformation and how this ambitious scheme has significantly changed their lives.

In Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur, numerous beneficiaries spoke to IANS, recounting their experiences of obtaining easy loans from banks, NBFCs, and various financial institutions. Many have launched their own enterprises, achieving self-reliance for themselves and their families.

All have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making loans accessible, a possibility that seemed unattainable under previous administrations.

Many young individuals who have established their businesses are now leading the lives they envisioned, operating their enterprises with the help of bank loans.

Among the beneficiaries are women entrepreneurs who have shattered societal barriers, setting inspiring examples for their fellow villagers.

Kalpana, a proud Mudra Yojana beneficiary, shared with IANS: “I faced numerous challenges, but the Mudra Yojana addressed my issues. Today, I am successfully running my own beauty parlor and earning a good income.”

Shubham Tiwari, a young entrepreneur from Mandsaur, mentioned that he secured a loan through the Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana to start his garment business. His venture has since flourished into a large ready-made garment showroom.

Sudhir Gupta, another local, praised the Mudra Yojana and conveyed that many others like him are grateful to the Prime Minister for opening entrepreneurial doors for the youth.

Sanjay Modi revealed that over 50,000 individuals are benefiting from the Mudra Yojana in the Mandsaur district.

“This scheme is designed for middle and small businesses,” he noted.

The PMMY offers easy collateral-free loans of up to Rs 10 lakh for non-corporate and non-farm income-generating activities, aiming to enhance financial inclusion.
