In a time of turbulent global trade, this 21 percent growth is viewed as a significant contribution to the nation's export momentum, Takeuchi added.

According to the automaker, the third crore milestone was reached even more swiftly -- in a record time of 6 years and 4 months, highlighting the brand’s increasing popularity among Indian consumers. Among the three crore cars sold in India, the Maruti Alto stands out as the best-selling model with over 47 lakh units sold.
