Hyderabad, March 20 (NationPress) Miss World Krystyna Pyszkova asserts that diversity is the core strength and essence of India, emphasizing that the entire globe can gain insights from this richness. The Miss World 2024 attended a press conference hosted by the Telangana government, announcing that the state will be the venue for the 72nd Miss World in May this year.
"Diversity is truly the strength and essence of India. With numerous nations, languages, and ethnicities coexisting, it is a beautiful tapestry. The sense of unity that binds all these elements together is formidable, and it offers valuable lessons to the world," said the Miss World.
Pyszkova expressed that Miss World embodies this same sense of unity. "More than 180 contestants from diverse backgrounds come together with a shared vision. Although we are different, we are united by our common purpose. This is the beauty behind our mission," she explained.
Regarding the forthcoming edition of Miss World in Telangana, she noted, "I am confident that this May, we will unite to create a grand festival that celebrates women's empowerment."
She revealed that India holds a special significance in her journey as Miss World, as it was where her adventure began last year. The atmosphere she experienced during her tour was unforgettable, and she looks forward to reliving it.
The Czech model shared her admiration for what she discovered during her time in Telangana. "India is a source of inspiration. It teaches crucial lessons, including the importance of understanding, which I realized during my visits to temples while exploring Telangana. You impart values of empathy, kindness, and above all, the unifying love that symbolizes diversity," she stated.
Julia Morley, Chairperson and CEO of Miss World Limited, remarked that Miss World represents more than just a beauty pageant; it serves as a platform for global goodwill, culture, and empowerment. The Minister for Tourism and Culture in Telangana, Jupally Krishna Rao, expressed pride in Hyderabad's role as the host of Miss World 2025. He labeled it a prestigious event and confirmed that the state government is diligently preparing for the event set to commence on May 7.
Smitha Sabharwal, Secretary for Tourism and Culture, conveyed the state's excitement about hosting Miss World.
She highlighted Telangana's robust infrastructure, excellent connectivity, commitment to safety, and its recognition as the vaccine capital of the world.
She also pointed out the state government's initiatives to attract Rs 15,000 crore in investments over the next five years as part of their tourism policy.
