New Delhi, July 29 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Tuesday that Operation Sindoor, executed in retaliation to the heinous terror attack in Pahalgam, not only obliterated terror camps and manufacturing sites on Pakistani soil but also instilled fear among the masterminds of terrorism residing across the border.
Highlighting the Armed Forces’ relentless assaults on Pakistan, PM Modi emphasized that Operation Sindoor showcased the world India’s self-reliant missiles and drones, commending the newfound Atmanirbharta in the nation's defense strategy.
“Made in India drones and missiles unleashed devastation in Pakistan,” PM Modi remarked, elaborating on how technological advancements facilitated precise and targeted strikes deep within enemy territory.
During the debate on Operation Sindoor, the Prime Minister characterized the Pahalgam massacre as a horrific act of terrorism, asserting that innocent tourists were brutally murdered based solely on their religion.
“This was a coordinated effort to instigate communal discord and provoke religious unrest, yet the nation stood united while our Armed Forces delivered a strong response to Pakistan’s provocations,” PM Modi expressed.
He also reflected on his earlier statement made post the April 22 attack, where he asserted that both terrorists and their orchestrators would be buried and face consequences beyond their imagination.
“Our forces were granted complete operational freedom, and through Operation Sindoor, they avenged the April 22 attacks in just 22 minutes,” PM Modi stated.
He further noted that Pakistan sensed an impending Indian assault and attempted nuclear blackmail to deter any attack, but our forces subdued them in merely one day.
“The operation became a nightmare for terror masterminds, as, unlike before, they now live in fear of Indian forces seeking them out,” PM Modi concluded.
