Bhubaneswar, Jan 28 (NationPress) On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched the two-day 'Utkarsh Odisha' – Make in Odisha Conclave 2025 and the Make in Odisha Exhibition in Bhubaneswar.
During his speech, PM Modi highlighted that eastern India serves as a pivotal growth engine for the nation, with Odisha playing a crucial role.
He pointed out that the region is witnessing an unprecedented surge in opportunities since independence.
The Prime Minister urged industry leaders present at the grand conclave to seize the moment and invest in Odisha's development journey.
He assured that such investments would pave the way for remarkable success.
Reflecting on his personal experiences of observing the skills, diligence, and integrity of the people from Odisha in Gujarat, he stated, 'With new opportunities arising in Odisha, the state is poised to achieve unparalleled development.'
Furthermore, he noted that Odisha is emerging as one of India's front-running states across various sectors, including food processing, petrochemicals, port-led development, fisheries, IT, edtech, textiles, tourism, mining, and green energy.
