Bhubaneswar, Jan 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Odisha on January 28 to officially launch the Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha Conclave 2025.
During a press briefing, Balasore MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi mentioned, “PM Modi has made multiple visits to Odisha. He will be present at the Utkarsh Odisha-Make in Odisha conclave taking place at Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar.”
“The party is preparing to give PM Modi a grand reception upon his arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport at 10:35 a.m.,” Sarangi added.
The senior BJP member also indicated that PM Modi will participate in various sessions at the conclave, which is expected to attract approximately 4,000 to 5,000 investors from both India and abroad.
He emphasized that, for the first time in Odisha's history, a variety of national and international events are being organized in the state under the BJP administration.
Sarangi remarked that PM Modi's involvement is likely to enhance investment prospects in Odisha, as he is particularly focused on the state.
“PM Modi frequently visits Odisha, understanding the necessity for a substantial contribution from the state towards a new India,” Sarangi expressed.
The Odisha government will conduct this two-day conclave in Bhubaneswar to highlight investment opportunities and draw investors globally.
On January 27, leading up to the conclave, five sessions of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) National Council will take place, with participation from 200 council members.
The conclave will showcase the accomplishments of 60 Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) entrepreneurs under the age of 40.
On January 29, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will honor two young entrepreneurs from each district in celebration.
The focus of the conclave will be on five primary sectors: IT, renewable energy, textiles, chemicals, and food processing. Twelve countries, including Australia, Malaysia, Japan, Germany, Poland, and Cuba, have been invited as 'Countries of Focus' to participate in the conclave.
