Jaipur, Sep 18 (NationPress) Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has announced that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and launch projects exceeding Rs 1.21 lakh crore from Banswara on September 25, coinciding with the birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay.
During this significant occasion, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone for the Mahi–Banswara Nuclear Power Plant, a landmark development that positions Rajasthan as a leader in the energy sector.
Additionally, PM Modi will dedicate various clean energy initiatives from different states, including Rajasthan, to the nation.
The Chief Minister presided over a comprehensive review meeting at the CMO on Thursday to ensure all preparations for the PM's visit are on track.
He urged officials from all relevant departments to guarantee timely arrangements with smooth inter-departmental collaboration.
CM Sharma highlighted that the Prime Minister will also launch three key express train services: Bikaner–Delhi Cantt. Vande Bharat Express, Jodhpur–Delhi Cantt. Vande Bharat Express, and Udaipur City–Chandigarh Express.
He instructed that necessary coordination with railway authorities at Bikaner, Jodhpur, and Udaipur stations be ensured. Guidelines were also provided to the Energy Department regarding a dialogue program between PM Modi and beneficiaries of the PM Kusum Yojana.
The Chief Minister stressed that all amenities, including seating, drinking water, and traffic management, should be in place to facilitate the smooth conduct of the event.
He directed the Home and Transport Departments to implement effective traffic control and parking arrangements, deploying officers for optimal management.
CM Sharma mandated that the event be broadcasted live from district headquarters to gram panchayats, promoting maximum public involvement. He also provided necessary instructions to the PHED, Tourism, PWD, IT, Communications, and IPR Departments for coordinated execution.
The meeting included participation from the Chief Secretary, DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma, and senior officials from various departments, with the Divisional Commissioner Udaipur and District Collector Banswara joining via video conference.
