Jaipur, Sep 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Banswara, Rajasthan, on September 25, where he will inaugurate the foundation stone for the nation's largest nuclear power project, estimated at approximately Rs 45,000 crore.
This monumental project, to be located near the Mahi Dam on the Rajasthan-Madhya Pradesh border, will be executed under the Nuclear Energy Mission, representing a pivotal advancement in India's energy security and sustainable energy efforts.
While in Banswara, the Prime Minister will also address a large public gathering, with preparations being orchestrated collaboratively by the state government and the BJP organization. Madan Rathore, President of BJP State, voiced pride over the initiative, asserting that the nuclear facility in Banswara will not only be the largest in the nation but also a testament to the region's escalating significance on the national energy landscape.

Kumar emphasized that all departments must coordinate closely and finalize preparations promptly to ensure the event's success. He directed officials to arrange suitable accommodations for VVIPs, transportation for the general public to the venue, deployment of medical teams with ambulances, and to guarantee uninterrupted supply of electricity and drinking water, along with mobile toilets and other essential amenities.
Furthermore, he instructed that public inconveniences during road travel be minimized. Special attention must be given to road repairs, construction of the meeting venue, installation of barricades, deployment of fire vehicles, traffic control measures, parking arrangements, and proper security pass provisions. Kumar stressed the necessity of ensuring drinking water facilities in every block of the meeting area.
