New Delhi, March 27 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday conveyed warm wishes to the public on the ninth day of Chaitra Navratri, which honors Goddess Siddhidatri, the ninth manifestation of Durga.

In a message posted on X, the Prime Minister stated: “I offer my respect to Maa Siddhidatri! I pray that the Goddess grants all her followers the realization of their aspirations.” (loosely translated from Hindi)

He also shared a Sanskrit shloka, expressing: "May Goddess Siddhidatri, revered by Siddha, Gandharvas, Yakshas, Asuras, and even the devas, who grants all spiritual powers and achievements, always bless us and safeguard our well-being."

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also shared his greetings, posting on X: “May the blessings of Maa Siddhidatri, the ninth form of Jagat Janani Maa Durga and the giver of eight siddhis and nine treasures, fill the lives of all devotees with joy, prosperity, and good health, and may the universe be blessed—this is my prayer.”

Additionally, the Chief Minister commemorated Ram Navami, celebrating the birth of Lord Ram, in a separate message, highlighting themes of righteousness, compassion, and societal harmony.

He remarked, “Lord Shri Ram represents the ideals of Indian consciousness, showcasing a harmonious blend of compassion and duty. His life exemplifies that true strength lies in honor, and that genuine victory is rooted in the welfare of the world. This sacred day of Ram Navami urges us to uphold truth in our actions, compassion in our dealings, and harmony within our communities—this is the essence of celebrating ‘Ramatava’.”

“May Lord Shri Ram's grace bring peace, balance, and goodwill to your lives—this is my sincere wish. Jai Shri Ram!” the CM concluded.

Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also paid her respects to Maa Siddhidatri, stating on X: “On this final day of the sacred Navratri, I humbly bow before Mother Siddhidatri, the giver of all accomplishments. This form of the Mother, who also completed Lord Shiva, transforms our steadfast devotion and spirit of service into success. The blessings of the Mother empower us to realize our commitments towards public welfare. May the infinite compassion of Mother Siddhidatri continually bring prosperity and joy to all residents of Delhi. Jai Mata Di.”

The Chaitra Navratri 2026 festival concludes on Friday with Navami, dedicated to Maa Siddhidatri. This day signifies the conclusion of nine days filled with devotion, fasting, and spiritual discipline, as worshippers seek blessings for achievement, prosperity, and well-being.
