Bhopal, Feb 21 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Mohan Yadav, is set to distribute laptops on Friday to meritorious students from government schools in the state who achieved 75 percent or higher in their Class 12 examinations for the academic year 2023-24.
During an event in Bhopal, Chief Minister Yadav will present laptops to select students.
While announcing this initiative, he remarked that technology will pave the way for a brighter future.
"The state government is committed to making sure that every talented son and daughter of Madhya Pradesh can realize their dreams of progress," he stated.
A total of Rs 224 crore will be deposited into the accounts of 89,710 deserving students who have completed the Class 12 exams of the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education in 2023-24 with 75 percent or more.
The Chief Minister also emphasized that the state government will provide all necessary resources to motivate students to excel academically and develop their skills.
The government is dedicated to ensuring that the aspirations of every talented youth from Madhya Pradesh are fulfilled, according to the Chief Minister.
Previously, Chief Minister Yadav announced that the government is focused on creating job opportunities for the youth and transforming Madhya Pradesh into a progressive state.
"Talented students who pass the 12th examination and make it to the merit list of government schools will receive Rs 25,000 for a laptop on February 21, 2025. Best wishes to all the talented children!" the CM shared on social media platform X.
It should be noted that students from the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not be eligible for this amount.
This initiative was first introduced in July 2023 by the former Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, who now leads the Union Agriculture and Rural Development Ministry.
