Bhopal, Aug 6 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Yadav convened a meeting with senior ministers from his Cabinet and Chief Secretary Anurag Jain to assess the government's readiness for Independence Day and the forthcoming festival season.
The meeting, held at the Chief Minister's Office within the state Assembly, included Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Devda and Rajendra Shukla, along with Urban Affairs Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya, Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Prahlad Patel, School Education Minister Uday Pratap Singh, and PWD Minister Rakesh Singh.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister was informed about the arrangements in place. Following a constructive discussion with the ministers, he provided necessary instructions and suggestions to ensure optimal preparations for Independence Day and the upcoming festivals.
The festival season will commence with Raksha Bandhan, followed by Krishna Janmashtami and then Navratri in the coming months.
In the meantime, the ongoing Madhya Pradesh Assembly's Monsoon Session, which began in July, observed a moment of silence in remembrance of the victims of the devastating cloudburst in Uttarkashi's Dharali area.
