Bhopal, July 19 (NationPress) The seven-day international journey of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav to Dubai and Spain wrapped up on Saturday, with plans to return to New Delhi on Sunday, as confirmed by government officials.
While addressing the media in Barcelona, Spain, on Saturday, Chief Minister Yadav expressed that the visit was fruitful, resulting in multiple memorandums of understanding with investors aimed at boosting production, enhancing employment, and increasing farmers' income in the state.
At the conclusion of his trip, the Chief Minister emphasized the state's targeted initiatives for development and job creation.
He articulated that the main goal of these foreign excursions was to discover new pathways for growth in partnership with the Indian diaspora, ultimately leading to more job opportunities within the state.
During his travels, the state delegation engaged with various industries and Indian restaurants as part of efforts to promote tourism in Madhya Pradesh.
He remarked that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Indian citizens have established a remarkable global presence, transcending national borders amidst the changing international landscape.
Chief Minister Yadav pointed out that Madhya Pradesh is evolving from a region of potential to a solid platform with a supportive ecosystem for investment.
He added that the state government has launched significant and effective reforms in policy, processes, and incentives, providing investors with tangible benefits and confidence.
Speaking to the Indian diaspora and 'Friends of Madhya Pradesh' in Barcelona on Friday, the Chief Minister noted, "Indians abroad are not just citizens but also guardians of Indian culture."
He shared that the sense of community he felt among the Indian populace in Barcelona made him feel as if he were in Ujjain.
"Wherever Indians settle, they maintain traditions and celebrations with grace. This interaction transcends mere dialogue, forming a genuine bond," the Chief Minister stated.
To highlight investment prospects in Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Yadav commenced his seven-day tour in Dubai on July 13.
After spending three days in Dubai, he departed for Spain on July 16.
The Chief Minister is set to return to New Delhi on July 20 and will travel to Rewa in Madhya Pradesh at 4:30 p.m. to participate in an event, as per the state's communication department's announcement on Saturday.
