Bhopal, July 22 (NationPress) Following his week-long trip abroad, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will lead a Cabinet meeting where he is expected to discuss key investment proposals from the United Arab Emirates and Spain.
During this meeting, Yadav will elaborate on the fruitful outcomes of his visit to the UAE and Spain, which included discussions on potential investments.
Insiders revealed that the Cabinet will also deliberate on land allocation related to these investment proposals.
Yadav announced on Monday that the Madhya Pradesh government has secured investment proposals exceeding Rs 11,000 crore from both the UAE and Spain, with several memoranda of understanding (MoUs) signed for long-term collaboration.
This significant investment is anticipated to unlock vast opportunities across various sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, film, textiles, sports, data analytics, and artificial intelligence.
The Cabinet will also outline the agenda for the forthcoming Monsoon session of the Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly, set to begin on July 28.
Officials have indicated that a supplementary budget is likely to receive approval during the meeting.
Additionally, key bills are expected to be introduced for discussion in the House, including one regarding reservations for the Other Backward Classes.
Earlier, Chief Minister Yadav had signaled his intention to present this new reservation bill.
The session will run until August 8 and will consist of 10 sittings. Adjournment motions and attention notices will be accepted on July 22. Furthermore, the Chief Minister is anticipated to address the ongoing fertiliser shortages affecting farmers, as numerous complaints have been received regarding difficulties in obtaining fertiliser from state-run distribution centres. This issue has also been raised by the opposition Congress party.
