Bhopal, Nov 7 (NationPress) In a display of empathy and acknowledgment, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav assured Kranti Gaud, a prominent member of the Indian women's cricket team that played a pivotal role in securing the World Cup for India, that he would seek avenues for the reinstatement of her father to government service.

Kranti's father, Munna Singh Gaud, a police constable, has faced suspension since 2011–12, reportedly due to alleged negligence during election duty.

CM Yadav committed to prompt action regarding the reinstatement.

The Chief Minister also announced that Kranti would be honored as a special guest at the Janjatiya Gaurav Divas in Jabalpur on November 15, an event held to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary freedom fighter and tribal icon Birsa Munda.

"This family has contributed to India’s glory as a world champion," CM Yadav stated, his voice resonating with determination.

"We will explore all options, including available appeal provisions, to rectify this situation. Their story deserves not just applause, but tangible support."

CM Yadav commenced a felicitation ceremony at his Bhopal residence, acknowledging the silent sacrifices that contribute to a national hero's success.

Munna Singh has witnessed his and his daughter's aspirations materialize amidst significant challenges. The family, displaced from their official residence, is now residing in a rented home in Ghuwara village, a tribal area in Chhatarpur's rugged Bundelkhand.

Kranti's remarkable journey from being a young ball boy at local tennis ball cricket tournaments in her village to becoming a member of the World Champion squad is truly inspiring.

Her cricket journey began uniquely. As a child, she frequently assisted in local tennis ball cricket competitions, tirelessly running errands and fetching balls, earning her the nickname 'Ball Boy'. However, her true potential lay beyond those tennis tournaments.

As the youngest of six siblings, Kranti left school after Class 8, but her father's unwavering faith ignited her passion.

"Return home only after winning," Munna Singh Gaud had advised her before the tournament.

On November 2, at Navi Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium, she fulfilled that promise, helping India defend 299 runs to defeat South Africa by 52 runs and secure the inaugural ICC Women's ODI World Cup.

The room was filled with senior officials, sports figures, and Kranti's proud relatives, all hanging on her every word.

CM Yadav then celebrated the occasion by draping a gold medal around the 22-year-old pacer's neck and presenting her with a one crore rupee reward announced days earlier.

"Madhya Pradesh's daughter has illuminated the nation," he remarked, linking her achievements to the broader progress under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision.

"Our girls are advancing, bowl by blistering bowl."

Kranti's performance in the tournament, with nine wickets across eight matches at an average of 40.11, including a Player-of-the-Match performance against Pakistan, has secured her place in history. Yet, this was more than just commendation.

The event sparked grander aspirations.

CM Yadav unveiled plans for a state-of-the-art cricket stadium in Chhatarpur, designed to nurture women's talent and support local children like Kranti.

"Our state is rich in raw talent," he proclaimed.

"This ground will transform small-town grit into world-class skill."

Stepping forward, Kranti stated, "This achievement is not solely mine; it's for every child in Ghuwara kicking a ball on dirt fields, and every girl overcoming doubts to pursue her dreams."
