Anantapur (Andhra Pradesh), Sep 10 (NationPress) Andhra Pradesh's Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, asserted on Wednesday that the NDA government led by TDP is making strides in honoring election commitments despite facing significant financial challenges.
He declared that the government will fulfill yet another promise this Dussehra by allocating annual financial aid of Rs 15,000 to each autorickshaw driver.
The Chief Minister made this announcement during the ‘Super Six Super Hit’ public gathering organized by the ruling coalition to commemorate the successful execution of the ‘Super Six’ promises.
Labeling the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP alliance as a ‘super hit’, Naidu emphasized that this coalition will persist in propelling the state toward development.
Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan, along with state BJP president PVN Madhav and numerous leaders from all three parties, addressed the audience at the public meeting.
Expressing concern over the rhetoric adopted by YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders, Naidu cautioned that the government would not tolerate any attempts to incite violence.
The Chief Minister held the previous regime accountable for the fiscal troubles currently faced by the state, alleging that the YSRCP government incurred Rs 10 lakh crore in debt while the coalition government has attracted investments worth Rs 10 lakh crore.
Naidu emphasized that the coalition has successfully implemented the ‘Super Six’ promises, benefiting countless citizens.
He stated that the public meeting was convened to inform the populace that the coalition had honored its commitments within just 15 months, achieving in 100 days what the YSRCP could not accomplish in five years.
Referring to the ‘NTR Bharosa pension’ as the most significant welfare initiative in the nation, he noted that the government has invested approximately Rs 45,000 crore in this program alone.
He also highlighted various schemes, including ‘Annadata Sukhibhava’ to assist farmers, ‘Talli Ki Vandanam’ providing financial support to mothers sending their children to school, and ‘Deepam’ ensuring free gas cylinders and bus travel for women.
Naidu reassured farmers that the government would take measures to guarantee there is no shortage of urea.
He claimed that YSRCP is facing a significant challenge, asserting that the opposition party is closing its offices and is only visible on social media.
The TDP President challenged YSRCP chief and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to attend the Assembly for discussions, saying, “They claim they will attend the Assembly only if they receive the main opposition status. I cannot grant that status; it is for the people to decide.”
Stressing that the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP alliance will persist, he expressed pride in the coalition's governance and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his unwavering support to the state.
Naidu expressed his vision of fostering a healthy, wealthy, and happy society, vowing to continue advocating for the underprivileged until his last breath.
Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan reiterated that the coalition government is dedicated to the public's welfare by fulfilling all promises despite the financial hurdles.
The Jana Sena Party leader noted the government introduced a scheme providing Rs 25 lakh health insurance for every family and highlighted the record number of gram sabhas held.
BJP state president Madhav remarked that under YSRCP rule, the state's economy had derailed, but the coalition government has successfully restored it.
