Mahakumbh Nagar, Jan 22 (NationPress) The Namami Gange Pavilion has been established at the current Maha Kumbh in the sacred city of Prayagraj. This pavilion, which is captivating the interest of many, provides crucial information regarding the cleanliness and conservation of the Ganga River.

In an interview with IANS, several devotees expressed their admiration for the Namami Gange Pavilion. One female devotee stated that through this pavilion, visitors are educated about Mother Ganga. She also noted that suitable arrangements have been made for the devotees attending.

Another devotee remarked, “The design of the Namami Gange Pavilion is truly impressive. There is valuable information available about the Ganga River. The central government is making commendable efforts to clean the Ganga, but public awareness is also essential.”

“I learned a lot by visiting here. It’s wonderful to be present,” added the woman devotee.

A different female devotee mentioned that the Namami Gange Pavilion delivers a strong message about cleanliness. “I have felt very positive coming here, as it contains comprehensive information regarding the Ganga, showcasing its magnificence.”

Subedar Sarvesh Tiwari, a member of the Ganga Task Force, explained that the aim of constructing the Namami Gange Pavilion is to enhance public awareness about the Ganga. “We are educating visitors about how to maintain the cleanliness of the Ganga River. Our teams are based in Banaras, Kanpur, and Prayagraj. Additionally, we monitor water quality and advise on suitable planting locations.”

“We urge the public to minimize the use of single-use plastic to protect the environment,” he conveyed to IANS.
