Key Takeaways
Indore, Feb 4 (NationPress) Senior BJP official and former Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra announced on Tuesday that the Navagraha Shaktipeeth temple in Dabra is now complete. The consecration ceremony is scheduled from February 10 to 20, featuring prominent Hindu spiritual and religious leaders from across India.
Mishra, who has represented the Dabra assembly constituency multiple times before it was designated for the Scheduled Caste (SC), and serves as one of the trustees of the new temple, emphasized that this extraordinary temple will provide Dabra with a fresh and recognizable identity on the global religious map.
A ten-day religious celebration will commence with a grand procession featuring sacred water pots (Kalash Yatra) on February 10, with participation from over 20,000 women. The Kalash Yatra will proceed from the stadium grounds to the Navagraha Shaktipeeth temple.
Notable spiritual figures, including Dhirendra Krishna Shastri from Bageshwar Dham, Pradeep Mishra, and celebrated poet Kumar Vishwas, along with many other saints from various Dham locations, are expected to be present at this grand event.
Mishra shared that Saint Badrish Ji Maharaj and his 70 disciples will oversee the rituals, while Danti Maharaj will conduct special rites throughout the ten days. Additionally, several political leaders have been invited from various parties.
Recently, Mishra met with Madhya Pradesh Governor Mangubhai Patel, extending an invitation for him to attend the consecration ceremony. Reports indicate that Mishra has also invited members of the Union Cabinet and the Madhya Pradesh Cabinet to participate.
“It brings great joy that the entire community of Dabra is uniting like a family to ensure the success of this event, offering all forms of support. The Navagraha Shaktipeeth will position Dabra as a premier destination for spiritual tourism. This event will showcase Sanatan culture and the rich tradition of astrology on a global scale,” he stated during his visit to Dabra.
Mishra, a five-term former minister, recently contested the 2023 elections from the Datia seat but faced a close defeat against Rajendra Bharti of the Congress.
