New Delhi, Feb 20 (NationPress) A gathering of Chief Ministers from states governed by the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) commenced in the national capital on Thursday, just hours after the spectacular swearing-in ceremony of the new Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and her Cabinet ministers at the famous Ramlila Ground.
The assembly saw the participation of CMs from BJP-led states as well as those from significant NDA allies, including TDP and JD(U).
While TDP President and Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu was present, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar notably did not attend.
The agenda of the meeting was anticipated to revolve around governance strategies, policy alignment, and preparations for upcoming elections in states governed by the NDA.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah was one of the first attendees to arrive at the Imperial Hotel, the designated venue for the NDA Chief Ministers' meeting.
Allies of the BJP present at the NDA gathering congratulated the newly appointed Delhi CM on the party's decisive electoral victory, attributing this achievement to the party’s dedication to public concerns and PM Modi's widespread appeal.

Following the oath ceremony, PM Modi took to social media, stating on X, "Congratulations to Smt. Rekha Gupta Ji on her oath as Delhi's Chief Minister. She has emerged from the grassroots, actively participating in campus politics, state organization, municipal administration, and now serving as both MLA and Chief Minister."
He expressed confidence in her commitment to Delhi’s progress, stating, "I am sure she will strive for the development of Delhi with full enthusiasm. Wishing her a productive tenure."
