Who is the fourth accused in the Raja Raghuvanshi murder case?

Bhopal, June 9 (NationPress) Anand, the fourth suspect in the murder case of Raja Raghuvanshi from Indore, who was allegedly killed during his honeymoon in Meghalaya by his wife Sonam Raghuvanshi and her lover Raj Kushwaha, has been captured in Basari village, located in the Sagar district of Madhya Pradesh.

After fleeing from Indore, Anand returned to his childhood home, but police eventually tracked him down, as stated by an officer on Monday.

Investigators are currently questioning Anand to reveal critical details of this high-profile case.

In a separate development, another suspect was apprehended in Lalitpur, Uttar Pradesh.

On Sunday night, the Shillong Police executed a raid in the village of Digwar in Kotwali Mahroni, resulting in the arrest of Akash Lodhi, an eighteen-year-old.

According to neighbors, Akash had recently been residing in Indore with his father, Raghavendra Lodhi, but returned to the village on Sunday evening.

Meanwhile, Sonam's return has caused great distress for her mother-in-law, Uma Raghuvanshi, who recalls seeing her daughter-in-law unharmed. She expresses disbelief that if Sonam had indeed been kidnapped, there would have been visible signs.

The emotional turmoil weighs heavily on Uma Raghuvanshi, prompting her to speak to her son’s memory, seeking answers.

Believing that he listens and shares her grief, she continues to hope for clarity.

Additionally, three suspects currently in custody are being taken to MY Hospital by police from Indore and Meghalaya for medical evaluations.

The investigation is ongoing, as authorities aim to piece together the circumstances surrounding Raja's demise.

According to Rajesh Dandotia, Additional DCP of the Crime Branch, two suspects were detained in Indore, while another was caught nearby.

All three are from Nandbagh, an area now under investigation.

The focus remains on ensuring a comprehensive inquiry by the Shillong Police, as names like Raj Kushwaha, Vishal Chauhan, and Akash Rajput have surfaced in connection with the case. Anand, who had been evading law enforcement, is now in custody.

Early in the morning in Ghazipur, Sonam made an unexpected call to her family at 3 AM, claiming she was at Kashi Dhaba along the Banaras-Ghazipur main road.

Indore Police relayed this information to Ghazipur officials, who quickly located her and took her for medical checks.

Amitabh Yash, ADG (Law and Order) of Uttar Pradesh, confirmed that Sonam was found at Kashi Dhaba and transported to Sadar Hospital for assessment. She is currently being held at the One Stop Centre in Ghazipur.
