Patna, March 20 (NationPress) During the fourth phase of the ‘Samriddhi Yatra’, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar visited Gaya and Aurangabad on Friday, where he initiated numerous development projects. Kumar urged citizens to unite in pursuit of a ‘Viksit Bihar’ (Developed Bihar), stressing the importance of collective efforts to sustain developmental progress.
The ‘Samriddhi Yatra’ aims to highlight development efforts while enhancing direct connections between the government and the public across regions.
Continuing with the ‘Samriddhi Yatra’, Nitish Kumar also visited Aurangabad on the same day, where he announced numerous development initiatives for the district.
During this visit, he laid the foundation for 120 projects and inaugurated 142 completed schemes, which were dedicated to the people of Aurangabad.
Kumar also reviewed stalls established by various government departments that highlighted ongoing initiatives, interacted with beneficiaries, and gathered feedback regarding implementation on the ground.
Furthermore, the Chief Minister distributed assistance cheques to beneficiaries under various welfare programs.
While addressing the audience at the ‘Jan Samvad’ event, Kumar reiterated his government’s commitment to the comprehensive development of Aurangabad and encouraged active public participation in the state’s advancement.
Several prominent figures attended the event, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, ministers Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Santosh Kumar Suman, as well as MLAs Chetan Anand, Lalan Ram, Prakash Chandra, Pramod Kumar Singh, and MLC Dilip Kumar Singh.
This visit is part of the state government’s wider initiative to expedite development and maintain ongoing engagement with citizens through the ‘Samriddhi Yatra’.
