As part of his visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the construction of the Inter-State Bus Terminal at Delhi Mod, a project announced in the previous Pragati Yatra.
This terminal is projected to cost Rs 88.78 crore, with construction having commenced on December 15, 2025, and an anticipated completion date of December 14, 2027.
Currently, the procurement of machinery and construction materials is ongoing.
Nitish Kumar also visited the exhibition stalls established at the bus stand complex, where models of 11 significant schemes introduced during the Pragati Yatra are showcased for public awareness.
Moreover, the Chief Minister inspected the under-construction Darbhanga Airport terminal, which carries a price tag of Rs 112 crore.
Officials informed him that approximately 50 percent of the work has been completed, and the terminal structure is projected to be finished within the next six months.
Additionally, the Chief Minister visited the camp office of Bihar's first expressway, the Amas–Darbhanga Expressway, to evaluate the progress of the ongoing construction.
This expressway will link Darbhanga to NH-27, dramatically enhancing regional connectivity.
During a cabinet meeting on January 13, 50 acres of land were allocated for a proposed logistics park in the district.
Nitish Kumar inspected the site and urged the district administration to commence the land acquisition process promptly.
The second phase of the Samriddhi Yatra kicked off on January 27 from Madhubani, with Wednesday marking the second day of the Chief Minister's development tour.
