Following his visit to Nalanda, Nitish Kumar continued his 'Samriddhi Yatra' in Patna, where he remotely inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for numerous development projects from Gyan Bhawan at Gandhi Maidan.
On this occasion, he inaugurated 761 projects and laid the foundation for 612 others, dedicating them to the people of Bihar.
He also reviewed stalls from different departments, interacted with beneficiaries, gathered feedback on ongoing initiatives, and distributed cheques under various welfare programs.
Commemorating the birth anniversary of Emperor Ashoka, he paid floral tributes to the emperor’s statue, reflecting on his principles of good governance, valor, and universal brotherhood.
In a later address to a large crowd at the 'Jansamvad' program in Bapu Sabhagar, Nitish Kumar reiterated his commitment to the comprehensive development of Bihar.
He showcased the progress made under the NDA government and encouraged the community to unite in striving for a “Developed Bihar”.
The event was attended by several key political figures, including Deputy Chief Ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha, former Union Minister and Patna Sahib MP Ravi Shankar Prasad, Vijay Kumar Choudhary, and various other ministers and legislators from across the state, underscoring the political significance of the occasion.
