Patna, March 25 (NationPress) During his ongoing Samriddhi Yatra, Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar made a visit to the districts of Buxar and Bhojpur on Wednesday, where he inaugurated numerous development projects and laid the groundwork for several others to boost regional growth.
Upon his arrival in Buxar, the Chief Minister received a warm reception from party leaders and supporters at the helipad.
Demonstrating his dedication to the district's progress, he laid the foundation for 23 projects with an estimated cost of Rs 486 crore and inaugurated 41 projects valued at Rs 106 crore.
During the visit, CM Nitish Kumar also inspected stalls established by various government departments to highlight welfare initiatives.
He engaged directly with beneficiaries and distributed cheques under different government schemes.
Speaking to a public gathering at the Qila Maidan complex as part of the ‘Jan Samvad’ (Public Dialogue) initiative, the Chief Minister emphasized the developmental milestones achieved by his government over the past two decades.
He reiterated his commitment to fostering comprehensive development and called upon the people to unite in the mission of constructing a prosperous Bihar.
Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister traveled to the Bhojpur district, where he significantly broadened the scope of development initiatives.
In Bhojpur, he laid the foundation stones for 227 projects amounting to Rs 269 crore and inaugurated 494 projects valued at Rs 197 crore.
He addressed a sizable audience at the Agriculture Produce Market Committee (APMC) complex in Bhojpur during the ‘Jan Samvad’ event, further reinforcing the government's dedication to infrastructure development, welfare initiatives, and inclusive growth.
The Samriddhi Yatra is viewed as a significant outreach effort by the Chief Minister to connect with the citizens, assess ongoing schemes, and expedite development throughout Bihar.
Several dignitaries were in attendance, including Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary, Water Resource Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Cabinet Minister Jama Khan, Rajpur MLA Santosh Kumar Nirala, Buxar MLA Anand Mishra, and Dumraon MLA Rahul Kumar Singh.
