Nitish Kumar to Launch Mahila Samvad Yatra on December 15 Before Assembly Elections

Patna, Dec 4 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is set to initiate the Mahila Samvad Yatra on December 15, just ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections. During the launch of this yatra, he will also have discussions with five women.

The journey will commence from Bagaha in West Champaran, a region predominantly inhabited by tribal communities that has historically reaped the benefits of his administration's programs.

During the yatra, Nitish Kumar aims to engage directly with tribal women to gain insight into their challenges and to solicit feedback regarding the performance of his government.

Five tribal women, including Mita Devi and Hema Devi, have been selected to share local development issues with the Chief Minister.

Meeta Devi highlighted the advancements women have made under Nitish Kumar's governance, pointing out substantial improvements in education, health, and job opportunities.

Hema Devi, one of the participants, commended Nitish Kumar for his initiatives such as the seven Nischay schemes, which have enhanced village infrastructure, curbed violence against women through liquor prohibition, and created jobs through Jeevika.

Senior officials are preparing locations across Mushari Semaria Panchayats, including Ghothawa Tola and Taruanwa, to ensure the event runs smoothly. The surroundings are being improved, demonstrating the government's commitment to resolving grievances and showcasing developmental progress.

The Mahila Samvad Yatra is perceived as a strategic effort to solidify support among female voters. Nitish Kumar has frequently attributed his successful electoral outcomes to his pro-women policies, which include liquor prohibition, enhanced educational prospects, and healthcare reforms.

Political analysts indicate that this initiative is part of a broader strategy to counter opposing narratives and reinforce the position of JD(U) ahead of the elections.

The yatra also aims to revitalize Nitish Kumar's development agenda in light of the evolving political landscape in the state.
