Patna, Feb 13 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is scheduled to travel to Gaya district on Thursday as part of his 'Pragati Yatra'. His visit aims to assess development efforts and to both inaugurate and lay the groundwork for various projects spanning multiple departments.
The district administration has put in place extensive security protocols and has released specific traffic advisories to facilitate a seamless visit.
Residents are encouraged to adhere to the traffic rules to prevent any disruptions.
During the Pragati Yatra, CM Nitish is set to initiate and lay the foundation for 1,447 schemes involving 44 departments.
Following his tour of the CM Model Prabhavati Hospital, he will convene a review meeting at the Collectorate office, with plans to remain in Gaya until 3:30 p.m.
According to the traffic advisory, vehicles from Mohanpur-Itwa will not be permitted beyond Sagarpur. Access from Sagarpur to Bodhgaya will be restricted.
Traffic has been halted from Hathiyar Mor to Bakraur Mor, Pachhatti, Silaunja, and Bodhgaya. Only vehicles with authorized passes can proceed towards the Bodhgaya Temple.
Key roads and important locations such as Gaya College, Collectorate, Gewal Bigha, JP Jharna, and Peer Mansoor will be closed off prior to his arrival.
This past Tuesday, CM Nitish inaugurated and laid the foundation for 195 development projects valued at Rs 554 crore in Aurangabad.
He also opened a Panchayat Government Building, Medical College in Aurangabad (Site Inspection), the newly finished Sadar Hospital, and the APJ Abdul Kalam Park and Riverfront Project on the Adari River.
Following that, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Government Ambedkar Residential Senior Secondary Girls High School in Kushi.
Additionally, he distributed cheques to beneficiaries of various welfare schemes.
