Patna, Jan 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is set to visit Katihar on Wednesday as part of the second phase of his Pragati Yatra. This visit aims to evaluate ongoing development projects, inaugurate completed initiatives, and lay foundation stones for several new infrastructure ventures.
During his time in Katihar, he will visit Rampur Panchayat, located within the Koda Assembly constituency.
CM Nitish will have direct interactions with locals, Jivika groups, and other community representatives to address their concerns.
He will review essential public infrastructure, such as residential schools for the minority community in Rampur Panchayat, hospitals, roads, and Anganwadi centres.
The Chief Minister plans to hold a comprehensive review meeting with district officials to evaluate the progress of government welfare schemes and ensure their effective execution.
Top officials, ministers, and local MLAs have already arrived at the site, and all administrative arrangements have been made for this visit.
The Pragati Yatra is designed to enhance governance, public infrastructure, and welfare programs throughout Bihar, ensuring that development efforts effectively reach grassroots levels.
On his previous day in Purnea, CM Nitish inaugurated and laid the groundwork for 62 development projects valued at Rs 580 crore.
He assessed the progress in Bhawanipur village, Majra Panchayat, K. Nagar block and examined a pond constructed under the Jal-Jeevan-Hariyali Abhiyan, along with solar rooftop installations, a library, and other facilities at Kanya Madhya Vidyalaya, Majra.
The Chief Minister also visited a playground developed under the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) at Kamakhya Senior Secondary School and distributed checks to beneficiaries of various welfare programs.
During a review meeting, CM Nitish addressed implementation challenges, listened to the concerns of public representatives, and instructed officials to ensure prompt resolution of issues.
He is visiting one district each day to review ongoing projects and will head to Madhepura on Thursday.
