Nitish Kumar Visits Sitamarhi and Sheohar on the Third Day of Pragati Yatra

Patna, Dec 26 (NationPress) The Pragati Yatra of Bihar's Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to continue on Thursday as he travels to the districts of Sitamarhi and Sheohar. Throughout this visit, he will be reviewing various ongoing government projects, conducting meetings with officials, and actively participating in local development efforts.

The Chief Minister aims to evaluate the advancement of multiple projects currently being implemented in both districts.

Officials involved in these projects will present updates and seek guidance to guarantee effective and timely execution. It is anticipated that Nitish Kumar will inaugurate completed projects or lay the foundation stones for new initiatives, reinforcing the government's dedication to regional development.

This tour will notably include a visit to the Riga Sugar Mill. The state government has promoted this Yatra with the slogan -- “Come, contribute to Bihar’s development and be part of this special journey,” which underscores the importance of public involvement in supporting Bihar’s progress.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar commenced his Pragati Yatra on December 23 from the Bagaha subdivision in West Champaran. This initiative is designed to monitor ongoing government projects and foster developmental activities throughout the state.

On the first day of his Pragati Yatra in West Champaran (Bagaha), he inaugurated and laid the groundwork for projects totaling Rs 700 crore. A key initiative included the electrification of 25 villages within the Valmikinagar Tiger Reserve (VTR) area, pioneering the introduction of underground cabling in the state.

This transformative measure is anticipated to enhance the region's power infrastructure. On the second day in East Champaran, projects valued at Rs 201 crore were either inaugurated or commenced, focusing on infrastructure, electrification, and rural development projects aimed at elevating the quality of life in the area.

On the third day of his Yatra, Nitish Kumar is in Sitamarhi and Sheohar, where he is expected to maintain this momentum by inspecting projects, holding review meetings, and laying the foundation stones for new initiatives.
