Patna, Jan 30 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, is set to visit Madhepura on Thursday as part of the second phase of his Pragati Yatra. The visit aims to assess ongoing rural development initiatives and to inaugurate or lay the foundation for various developmental projects.

He will evaluate projects under 'Saat Nischay Part 2', including the 'Har Ghar Nal ka Jal Yojana' and initiatives associated with the 'Tola Sampark Yojana'.

During his visit, CM Nitish will inaugurate buildings for schools and Anganwadi centers.

As part of his statewide Pragati Yatra, he is visiting one district each day to inspect projects focusing on infrastructure and public welfare.

In Madhepura, the Chief Minister will spend over five hours, including a review meeting with district officials. The district administration has finalized all necessary arrangements for his arrival.

CM Nitish has previously announced that all development projects revealed during the Pragati Yatra will be approved in upcoming cabinet meetings.

On Wednesday, he visited Katihar, where he inaugurated and laid the groundwork for 145 developmental schemes worth Rs 166.69 crore.

As part of his agenda, he also conducted an aerial survey of Gogabil Lake in the Ahmedabad block of Katihar. He visited Rampur Panchayat in the Kodha block to evaluate the progress of various development works, inaugurating badminton and volleyball courts and inspecting significant government infrastructure, including the Panchayat Government Building, MNREGA Bhawan, PACS Bhawan, and Health and Wellness Centre.

Furthermore, he reviewed the proposed site for a sports complex by checking the existing stadium.

In a public welfare initiative, CM Nitish distributed cheques to beneficiaries under various state welfare programs.

During a review meeting with officials, he discussed the implementation of government schemes and addressed challenges in execution.

Public representatives also contributed to the review meeting, presenting concerns from their constituencies. The Chief Minister instructed officials to address all pending issues to ensure effective governance and development.
