  • Focus on preparation, not just results.

Bhubaneswar, Feb 10 (NationPress) Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Monday encouraged students to engage in diligent study for their upcoming board exams while maintaining a calm mindset.

During his interaction with students at the Pariksha Pe Charcha event held at Unit-1 Government High School, CM Majhi stated: "A bit of stress before the examination is natural, but it can be managed by believing in your abilities. Put in the effort by heeding the guidance of teachers, parents, and elders, and you will surely succeed in your exams."

He also recommended that students take brief breaks of 5 to 10 minutes while studying for extended periods to promote relaxation. This practice would enhance their focus on studies and alleviate stress. Additionally, he stressed the importance of a healthy and balanced diet to maintain good health and a positive mindset.

"I am convinced that your dedication will yield results. If you persist with hard work, confidence, and a determination to progress, your efforts will bear fruit. It's essential to concentrate more on preparation rather than the exam outcomes. During the exam, focus solely on what is necessary without dwelling on other concerns," the Chief Minister advised.

He further recommended minimizing the use of digital devices during exam preparation, as they can distract and disrupt concentration.

The Chief Minister highlighted the benefits of studying early in the day to enhance focus. A video featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi's interaction with students, teachers, and parents during the 8th edition of ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ in Delhi was presented at the event.

PM Modi shared several crucial tips to help students manage study-related pressure ahead of their board exams.

In conversations with the media afterward, CM Majhi remarked that PM Modi has been providing essential advice to uplift student morale through the annual ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha' programs since 2018.

He added that students posed various questions, which were effectively addressed by Prime Minister Modi using relatable examples during Monday's event.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ initiative will certainly aid in relieving examination-related anxiety among students.

It’s noteworthy that around 200 students, including 168 from Unit-1 Government High School, who are preparing for the Class-10 exams this year, participated in the program.
