Mumbai, June 12 (NationPress) The former head of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee, Nana Patole, recently criticized the BJP-led Central government by referring to Operation Sindoor as a "video game on a computer". Patole stated, “The remarks made by the External Affairs Minister clearly indicated which locations in Pakistan were targeted. Subsequently, they evacuated their personnel from those sites. This implies it was akin to a game played by children on computers. India had informed Pakistan beforehand about the places it intended to strike,” he asserted.
In response, State BJP president and Revenue Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule countered, “Nana Patole’s distasteful comment on Operation Sindoor being a computer game demonstrates that Congress is aligned with Pakistan. To belittle this operation, which instills dread in our adversaries, is an affront not just to our valiant soldiers but to the entire nation. Is Nana Patole even aware of the anguish his outrageous remarks may inflict on the families of our martyrs?”
Bawankule continued, “Operation Sindoor is far from a computer game; it represents a brave and valorous effort against the strongholds of Pakistani terrorists. It is a remarkable narrative of courage that strikes fear in the hearts of traitors! Does Congress perceive the bravery of our soldiers and the actions taken to combat terrorism as mere play? Your leader, Rahul Gandhi, has already insulted India on foreign soil. Congress has showcased its despicable attitude by demanding proof of the surgical strike.”
Bawankule further commented, “Today, the nation is vigilant. The public is observing who supports our brave soldiers and who stands with Pakistan! Nana, India will not forget your anti-national mindset. Your thoughts and intentions have become tainted. I vehemently denounce your abhorrent perspective.”
Previously, Patole claimed that the Indian government halted Operation Sindoor after threats from the US to terminate trade. He remarked, “President Donald Trump repeatedly pressured both nations, compelling them to halt hostilities. The US threatened to cease trade if they did not consent to a ceasefire. Consequently, India terminated Operation Sindoor.”
Patole also pressed the BJP-led government with a series of inquiries: “Where are the terrorists hiding from the Pahalgam attack? How have they managed to evade capture? Why have they not been located yet? Why are the connections to these terrorists still undiscovered?”
