Jaipur, March 5 (NationPress) Congress general secretary and Tonk MLA Sachin Pilot has taken aim at the BJP administration, asserting that its double-engine governance system—both at the national and state levels in Rajasthan—has utterly failed. He highlighted that the government’s repeated commitments to create lakhs of jobs have proved to be nothing more than empty promises without any actual implementation.

Pilot stated that the law and order situation has deteriorated, with criminals operating without fear of consequences.

Speaking to reporters in Tonk, he claimed that the government is disorganized, with bureaucrats overshadowing the political leadership and multiple centers of power emerging.

The disarray within the Cabinet, according to him, is having a direct negative impact on the public.

Despite being in power for more than a year and having presented two budgets, the BJP government has failed to deliver any notable achievements, as asserted by the former Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan.

The promises of creating lakhs of jobs remain unfulfilled, existing only as declarations without any follow-through.

Focusing on the central government, Pilot accused the BJP-led Union government of disregarding Rajasthan, particularly following poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, where only 14 out of 25 seats were won.

He emphasized that Rajasthan was overlooked in both Budgets put forth by the Union Finance Minister, despite being the largest state by area and in need of critical infrastructure projects like railways and bridges.

Pilot mentioned that the state government has failed to advocate for Rajasthan’s fair share from the Union Budget.

He remarked, "The BJP’s so-called double-engine government has come to a halt. The Central government is more interested in creating reels than in railways."

Prior to his press conference, Pilot assessed various significant development projects in Tonk, including a medical college, a new hospital, a mini food park, and an indoor stadium, among others.

He provided essential guidelines to the relevant officials to accelerate the progress on these projects.

Furthermore, Pilot engaged in several events in Tonk city and visited villages such as Laxmipura (Chanbassurya), Sentivas (Khareda), and Sanwariya (Malpura).
