Sachin Pilot Critiques Rajasthan Government's Unfulfilled Election Commitments

Jaipur, Dec 4 (NationPress) Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot has sharply criticised the BJP-led state government, asserting that after a year in power, it has not managed to keep its essential promises regarding unemployment, inflation, law and order, and public welfare.
Pilot pointed out the increasing atrocities against women and the uncertainty felt by young people regarding government job recruitments, claiming that the public has entirely lost trust in the BJP.
While visiting the Tonk Assembly constituency, Pilot explored various villages including Baroni, Govindpura (Hatouna), Hatona, Devarania, Shuklapura, Parana, Sitarampura, Mandawar, Bhaanchi (Deoli Bhaanchi), Charai (Soran), and Chimanpura (Bamor).
In his addresses to the villagers, he highlighted the transformative initiatives launched by the Congress government at the Centre, including MNREGA, the Right to Information, the Right to Education, and the Right to Medical Care.
He contrasted these positive initiatives with the BJP's controversial farm laws, which were repealed following persistent farmer protests.
Pilot accused the BJP of diverting attention from pressing issues such as inflation, unemployment, and farmers’ difficulties by fostering communal strife and division.
He also condemned the government's One Nation, One Election proposal, alleging it serves as a cover to postpone local body and Panchayati Raj elections, allowing for the installation of administrators at the cost of democratic principles.
Reassuring the villagers, Pilot stated that irrespective of which party is in power, development efforts and infrastructure projects in Tonk will persist without interruption. He stressed that progress and welfare initiatives are his foremost priorities.
