Earlier that day, President Droupadi Murmu also shared her greetings with civil servants, commending their unwavering dedication to enhancing governance and creating a more equitable and progressive nation.

She remarked, "Heartfelt greetings to all civil servants on Civil Services Day. Your dedication continues to bolster responsive governance and strengthen public institutions. From developing innovative, citizen-centric policies to implementing them effectively, your efforts have a profound impact on the lives of millions."

She added, "As Bharat progresses with renewed aspirations, your integrity and empathy are vital in bridging gaps, promoting inclusivity, and fostering trust between the State and its citizens. Union Home Minister Amit Shah also shared his warm regards with civil servants on this special occasion, noting, "On Civil Services Day, I extend my greetings to our civil servants. Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, also took to social media to honor civil servants on Civil Services Day. The Government of India initiated the celebration of National Civil Services Day in 2006 at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi. It was on this date in 1947 that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, India's first Home Minister, addressed the newly appointed officers of the Indian Civil Services, referring to them as the “Steel Frame of India.”
