New Delhi, Feb 12 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday shared a blog written by two-time Olympic medalist Neeraj Chopra addressing the rising issue of obesity in the nation and the urgent need to confront it directly.

In his article featured in a prominent newspaper, Neeraj Chopra backed Prime Minister Modi's initiative against obesity, emphasizing the importance of a steadfast commitment to maintaining good health, not only for ourselves but also to contribute to a healthier India.

Chopra elaborated in his article that childhood obesity is a significant challenge in the country, with an increasing number of young individuals adopting sedentary lifestyles influenced by fast food, excessive screen time, and insufficient physical activity.
