In accordance with the Prime Minister's commitment to prioritize employment generation, the 15th Rozgar Mela will take place at 47 locations nationwide, as stated by the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).

This event aims to provide significant opportunities for the youth, enabling their empowerment and their essential roles in national development.

The new recruits, selected from across the nation, will join the Central government in various ministries and departments, including the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Personnel and Public Grievances and Pensions, Ministry of Home Affairs, Department of Posts, Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Railways, and Ministry of Labour and Employment, among others.

Since 2022, more than 10 lakh permanent government jobs have been made available, marking a remarkable achievement, as noted by PM Modi during the 14th Rozgar Mela last December.

While distributing 71,000 job offers, PM Modi emphasized that such job fairs are integral to the government's mission of providing employment with complete transparency.

PM Modi initiated the Rozgar Mela – a recruitment drive aimed at hiring 10 lakh personnel – on October 22, 2022. The inaugural edition saw the distribution of appointment letters to 75,000 new appointees.

Rozgar Mela symbolizes a significant effort by the government to boost employment opportunities for youth throughout India.

By creating direct connections between job seekers and employers, it not only tackles the urgent issue of unemployment but also empowers individuals to make meaningful contributions to national development.

At the 14th Rozgar Mela, PM Modi also mentioned that India has established agreements concerning migration and employment with 21 countries in recent years, including nations such as Japan, Australia, France, Germany, Mauritius, Israel, the UK, and Italy, as well as several Gulf countries.
