In anticipation of PM Modi’s arrival, Bhagalpur has been adorned with unique gates themed around banana and makhana. Numerous intersections throughout the city have been beautifully decorated to honor the Prime Minister's visit.
An agricultural exhibition has also been organized at the airport, expected to attract a large number of farmers. The exhibition features stalls from the Central Agricultural Research Council, showcasing GI-tagged crops from Bihar. The Prime Minister will address farmers at the airport grounds in Bhagalpur.
The gates, highlighting key agricultural products of Bihar, are drawing significant attention. These gates are named after the major agricultural products of the state, with some boasting the GI (Geographical Indication) tag.
The main entrance is designated as 'Banana Gate', while a VIP entrance is labeled 'Makhana Gate'. Other gates include 'Makka Dwar', 'Katrani Dwar', 'Jardalu Mango Dwar', and 'Magahi Paan Dwar'.
