Bhagalpur, Feb 24 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi unveiled the 19th instalment of the PM-KISAN fund on Monday in the Bhagalpur district of Bihar, benefiting over 9.8 crore farmers nationwide.
“I take immense pride in transferring the 19th instalment of PM-KISAN to the accounts of our food-producing sisters and brothers from the sacred land of Bihar, alongside inaugurating several development initiatives,” PM Modi stated on X, emphasizing that the nation honors its ‘Annadatas’.
Numerous farmers from the city expressed their appreciation for the government's flagship scheme and conveyed their gratitude to the Prime Minister for the financial support.
Farmer Sitaram Mandal shared with IANS, “This scheme is excellent. The funds are credited directly to farmers' accounts, providing significant benefits.”
Another farmer, Suresh Mandal, stated, “I am reaping the rewards of the 'PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana'. This initiative is remarkable. The funds are regularly deposited into my bank account. Previously, we faced substantial challenges as we had to farm with loans. Now, I can purchase seeds and fertilizers with this money.”
Farmer Kailash Kumar Mandal commented, “This scheme is commendable. It supports my entire family with this financial aid.”
Ravi Kumar noted, “My whole family relies on farming. The funds from the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana are a tremendous relief.”
