Jaipur, Feb 28 (NationPress) On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Ajmer, marking his inaugural visit to Rajasthan this year. During this significant visit, he will kick off a nationwide vaccination initiative aimed at providing the HPV vaccine to girls aged 9 to 14. The Prime Minister is also scheduled to speak at a public assembly at Kayad Vishram Sthali, where he plans to unveil and commit to development projects totaling Rs 16,686 crore for the state.
Notable figures such as Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, and BJP State President Madan Rathore will be in attendance at the rally.
All necessary administrative and security measures for the event have been finalized.
In a significant boost to local employment, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment letters to 21,863 youths across several departments.
The new appointments include 3,320 positions for Patwaris in the Revenue Department, 2,291 Contract Accounting Assistants, 2,950 Livestock Assistants, 3,822 Chief Health Officers (CHOs), and 7,357 roles for Public Healthcare Nurses, lab technicians, nursing in-charges, and various healthcare and administrative positions.
Furthermore, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for numerous projects focusing on urban and rural development, transportation infrastructure, railways, irrigation, technological advancement, and industrial growth.
Out of the total ₹16,686 crore investment, 34 projects valued at ₹8,554 crore are specifically tied to state initiatives.
From the Kayad Rest House, he will also inaugurate and lay foundations for nine National Highway and energy projects, which are estimated to cost ₹8,132 crore.
Noteworthy projects include the Bandikui–Jaipur four-lane Greenfield Expressway, valued at ₹1,207 crore, the Delhi–Vadodara Greenfield Expressway, along with other significant highway and energy infrastructure projects.
This visit is anticipated to be a crucial developmental and political event for Rajasthan, with a strong emphasis on healthcare, job creation, and extensive infrastructure development.
