Jaipur, Feb 27 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Ajmer, Rajasthan on Saturday. At approximately 11:30 a.m., he will kick off, inaugurate, and lay the groundwork for various development initiatives totaling over Rs 16,680 crore.

On this occasion, the Prime Minister will also speak to a gathering of the public.

The array of projects encompasses crucial sectors such as urban development, drinking water supply, road infrastructure, irrigation, energy, and industrial development, all aimed at propelling Rajasthan’s advancement and enhancing the quality of life.

In a significant move towards bolstering preventive health and advocating for women’s welfare, the Prime Minister will initiate a nationwide campaign for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination targeting girls aged 14 and older to combat cervical cancer.

This initiative aims to diminish the occurrence of cervical cancer, a leading cause of cancer-related health issues among women, and represents a pivotal step in safeguarding the long-term health of girls and women throughout the nation.

To enhance road infrastructure and connectivity, the Prime Minister will inaugurate multiple National Highway projects, which include the four-lane Greenfield Expressway connecting Bandikui to Jaipur, the six-lane access-controlled green highway (Package 7) of the Amritsar-Jamnagar Economic Corridor, and the eight-lane carriageway (Package 14) of the Delhi-Vadodara Access Controlled Greenfield Expressway.

He will also lay the foundation for a four-lane elevated road in Jodhpur city and the Malbamori–Mangrol–Baran State Highway located in Baran district.

Aligning with the government’s pledge to ensure safe and clean drinking water, the Prime Minister will lay the groundwork for four packages of the Nonera Major Drinking Water Project and five packages of the Parwan Akawad Major Drinking Water Project, aimed at securing dependable water supply across various districts in Rajasthan.

To improve renewable energy transmission and ensure efficient evacuation from Rajasthan’s Renewable Energy Zones (REZs), the Prime Minister will inaugurate essential transmission systems. He will also lay the foundation for five 220 kV grid substations, two 400 kV grid substations, and related transmission lines to fortify the state’s power infrastructure and support the growth of clean energy.

Continuing to focus on youth empowerment and job creation, Prime Minister Modi will distribute over 21,800 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organizations across Rajasthan.
