Jaipur, Feb 28 (NationPress) In a heartfelt address to a public assembly in Ajmer, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that the courage exhibited by the sons of Rajasthan is still honored in Israel. He stated, "I returned from Israel just yesterday. The citizens of Israel hold Major Dalpat Singh, a valiant son of Rajasthan, in high esteem. I was fortunate to pay my respects to his heroic deeds in the Israeli Parliament."

Additionally, he praised the historical contributions of Rajasthan's soldiers in liberating the Israeli city of Haifa, highlighting that he acknowledged and celebrated these warriors' sacrifices during his recent trip.

The Prime Minister arrived in Ajmer around 11 a.m. and made his way to Kayad Vishramsthal, the site of the public meeting.

Earlier, he inaugurated a significant Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination initiative for girls aged 9 to 14, aimed at combating cervical cancer among women. This initiative is projected to save countless lives annually, providing the vaccine free of charge under the government program.

During the event, the Prime Minister also distributed appointment letters for government positions to chosen candidates as part of a substantial employment initiative. A total of 21,800 young individuals received their joining letters at this gathering.

In a personal gesture, the Prime Minister handed appointment letters to Ankita Meena from Kekri, appointed as a CHC Officer, and Mukesh Prajapat from Rupangarh, selected as a Junior Engineer.

Touching on recruitment reforms, PM Modi remarked, "Two years ago, Rajasthan was plagued by reports of paper leaks. Now, such incidents have been eradicated, and actions are being taken against the offenders. Today, 21,000 young people have received their appointment letters. This is a significant transformation."

Emphasizing the state's advancement, the Prime Minister stated that Rajasthan is on a fresh path of development under the BJP's double-engine government.

"Recently, we laid the groundwork and inaugurated projects valued at Rs 17,000 crore. These initiatives will enhance public convenience and generate employment opportunities for the youth," he added.

Present at the event, Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma remarked that the state is steadily evolving into a growth engine for a developed India. He acknowledged that the Prime Minister has consistently bestowed significant development projects upon Rajasthan over the past two years, asserting that protecting daughters from cervical cancer is also a vital step towards nation-building.

The rally attracted a large crowd, with a notable presence of women.

Sadhus and saints were also invited to the event, with a separate stage arranged for them near the main dais. BJP supporters warmly welcomed the Prime Minister with party flags and slogans upon his arrival.
