Guwahati, Sep 14 (NationPress) Residents in Assam are buzzing with excitement as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the groundwork for vital infrastructure and industrial development initiatives worth Rs 18,530 crore this Sunday.

The Prime Minister arrived in the city on Saturday to participate in the centenary celebrations of Bharat Ratna Bhupen Hazarika. He paid heartfelt tributes to this iconic singer and cultural personality of Assam.
Before his gathering on Sunday, numerous locals have begun to assemble at the venue in Mangaldoi, located in the Darrang district, where PM Modi will lay the foundation for a series of health education initiatives, including a new Medical College and Hospital, a GNM school, and a B.Sc Nursing College.
In a conversation with IANS, a local resident remarked, "PM Modi is an exceptional leader who prioritizes our development and growth. I am incredibly grateful to him. He has accomplished so much for us. The launch of numerous health projects today will propel our state's progress forward."
