Bikaner, May 22 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated on Thursday that if Pakistan persists in supporting terrorism, the nation will find itself pleading for every penny.
He highlighted that Pakistan attempted to target the Nal Air Force Station in Bikaner, but the Indian military successfully thwarted the effort, delivering a significant counter-response by demolishing Pakistan's Rahim Yar Khan air base.
During a large public gathering in Bikaner, Rajasthan, the Prime Minister commended the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force for their synchronized and brave actions during Operation Sindoor, which he described as a strong message to the globe against terrorism.
"Upon arriving here from Delhi, I landed at Nal Air Force Station. Pakistan attempted to strike this airbase previously but couldn't even graze it. Right across the border, Pakistan's Rahim Yar Khan air base is now in dire condition. Its operational status is uncertain," PM Modi asserted, as the audience enthusiastically chanted "Modi-Modi" and "Bharat Mata Ki Jai."
He reaffirmed India's unwavering position against terrorism, stating that there will be no discussions or commerce with Islamabad unless it ceases its unlawful occupation of Kashmir.
"If discussions are to occur, they will revolve around PoK. If Pakistan continues to export terrorists, it will be left begging for every cent. It won't receive a single drop of Indian water," he emphasized, asserting that "playing with the blood of Indians will have severe consequences for Pakistan."
While inaugurating and laying the foundation for developmental projects worth over Rs 26,000 crore, PM Modi articulated that India's comprehensive vision of Viksit Bharat encompasses both security and progress.
Referring to the April 22 terrorist attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives, he remarked, "Terrorists attempted to desecrate the 'sindoor' of our mothers and sisters. Those bullets were fired in Kashmir, but they struck the hearts of 140 crore Indians."
"In retaliation, India acted with unparalleled speed and might. Within a mere 22 minutes, we obliterated nine high-value terrorist hideouts. Our government empowered all three armed forces, enabling them to devise a strategy that compelled Pakistan to submit," he continued.
In a strong conclusion, the Prime Minister stated, "The world is now aware of what transpires when sindoor transforms into barood (gunpowder). This reflects the determination of 140 crore Indians, and no force globally can impede us from realizing it."
