Ajmer, Jan 18 (NationPress) Special prayers were held at the dargah of Khwaja Moinuddin Hasan Chishti in Ajmer for the health and well-being of Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan.
Devotees and fans gathered to pray for his long life and offered prayers at the sacred Jannati gate, seeking blessings for his swift recovery.
Khadim Qutubuddin Sakhi, who is associated with Bollywood, led the prayers and shared his heartfelt wishes for Saif Ali Khan's quick return to good health.
In a statement to the press, he mentioned that prayers were said for Saif Ali Khan, who unfortunately sustained serious injuries during an attack by a miscreant who entered his home intending to loot.
"Prayers were offered for the well-being of Saif, who is currently hospitalized in Mumbai and receiving treatment for his injuries. We all prayed here for his speedy recovery," he stated.
He also noted that Saif's fans, along with the devotees, joined in prayer for his fast recovery.
“Everyone prayed for Saif. Holy threads were also offered here for his long life,” he added.
On Thursday, a miscreant in his early 30s intruded into Saif Ali Khan’s 11th-floor apartment, allegedly demanded Rs 1 crore, injured the family’s nanny, and then attacked Khan with a blade multiple times before fleeing.
Khan, who was bleeding heavily, was hurried to Lilavati Hospital by his family in an autorickshaw, underwent surgery, and is reported to be stable.
Meanwhile, the police are reviewing their database for known robbers who fit the description of the suspect captured on CCTV at the Satguru Sharan building on St Terra Road, Bandra West, where Khan’s family resides.
